Rockhouse Vineyards

Enjoy award-winning wines from this small family winery located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains near Tryon, North Carolina.

Since 1998, winemaker Lee Griffin and his wife, Marsha Cassedy, have been producing small quantities of quality wines. Varieties include Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Viognier and Cabernet Franc.

Visitors are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy on the porch or grounds of the winery.

Hours of Operation

The winery is open for tours and tastings Thursday through Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., or by appointment. Closed January, February and major holidays.

Special Events

Private parties, group tastings and other special occasions may be accommodated by prior arrangement with the winery.
