Volunteer Services
Thanks to gifts of time and money from the very active group of volunteers, St. Luke’s Hospital exemplifies a warm and caring environment. Volunteers provide invaluable services throughout St. Luke’s, including patient visitation, visitor information and a unique transport service for patients and visitors. They also manage a gift shop at the hospital and a successful Thrift Shop in downtown Tryon, using proceeds to benefit St. Luke’s Hospital. St. Luke’s Foundation
In 1991, the St. Luke’s Hospital Foundation was created to provide a giving opportunity for individuals and organizations that support the mission of St. Luke’s and quality healthcare in our community. As a support agency for St. Luke’s Hospital, the Foundation provides an opportunity for donors to contribute to the future needs and support high level of services provided by the not-for-profit community hospital.
